To celebrate its 55th anniversary of Playboy magazine started the multi-city tour in search of 55th anniversary Playmate.

They are looking for fresh face girl who appears in the magazine in January 2009 issue and receive $ 55,000 modeling contract (with their release on newsstands December 2008).

Junior Photo Editor and “Girls Next Door” star Holly Madison will oversee the nationwide search, which began on Wednesday (January 16) at the Playboy Mansion in Los Angeles.

“I am pleased to be part of Playboy in search of its 55th anniversary Playmate”, said Hall. “We are looking for those who are sexy, sophisticated and all-American girl next door.”

During the tour, Playboy photographers will travel across the U.S., interviewing candidates during stops in Los Angeles, Phoenix, Atlanta, New York City, among other stops.
